We are a research oriented group with only a limited number of opportunities for Bachelor and Master students. We expect good grades, commitment and an interest in scientific thinking. Preference is given to such candidates who are considering a scientific career.

Prospective Bachelor and Master candidates should express their interest as early as possible.

Bachelor students should take the "Vertiefung" in the area of Neural and Behavioural Biology.

Master students are obliged to take M.Bio306 and M.Bio308. They will then do the module M.Bio318 with us (after the option of doing a Diploma project with us has been agreed upon). 

Generally, prospective PhD students need to arrange their own funding (i.e. obtain grants). We encourage PhD students to develop their own projects in accordance with the group's research program. Occasionally, positions will be advertised (check News & Events).

Prospective Bachelor/Masters and PhD students should send a letter of motivation with information about classes taken and grades obtained to Nadine Ellrott (nellrott (the at) dpz (the dot) eu).
